O My Bag products are available at www.omybagamsterdam.com, at our own Amsterdam and The Hague stores, as well as at our carefully selected resellers and their stores/websites.

Do you have a physical store?

Yes, we do! Our flagship store is located in Amsterdam and we also have a store in The Hague, find the precise locations here.

Due to the current situation we have decided to close both our Flagship and Brandstore until the 6th April, for the safety of our employees and community.

Sustainability

What do you mean by 'fairly made' products?

We work together with different manufacturers in Kolkata, India. All our factories operate under fair conditions (and meet the SA 8000 Certification Standards to ensure that). The EMA (Equitable Marketing Association) factory even has a World Fair Trade Certification. Over the years we have built firm relationships with our partners. We talk to our producers on a daily basis which helps us to keep direct insights into, and control over, our supply chain.

Though we don’t use the Fair Trade certification for our products, all of them are made with love and passion under fair conditions with respect for the people and environment in India.

So with every purchase you make, we can contribute to a better world with fairly-paid jobs, safe working environments, equal opportunities and women empowerment.

How is your leather sustainable?

We try to have a minimal environmental impact and therefore our products are made from sustainable leather. This means our leathers are tanned without the use of harmful chemicals, like chromium. Also, water and energy are managed at the tannery. Our leather will age beautifully over time the more you use it. It deepens in color, gets softer, and develops a nice sheen.

Why don't you have a vegan collection?

We do not use any alternative synthetic materials that are called vegan leather alternatives. Alternatives to real leather are made from PU, PVC or other composite microfibers (plastics), which produce many harmful toxins in the production process. These alternatives will never last as long or age and develop over time. Our leather articles are designed to last, and will always outlast the plastic alternatives.

One of the most responsible things we can do for our planet is to only make high quality products that can be worn and used for years. We make an effort to design timeless pieces that you can carry and cherish for years. In a circular economy the most beneficial circle is longevity, repair and reuse. Usually it is a thread or zip that goes, rather than the leather itself. We make sure that we elongate the products lifetime by providing careful care tips and repairing when possible.

We believe that using vegetable tanned leather is currently the most sustainable option. The hides that are used to tan leather are a waste product that would otherwise be thrown away and a chrome-free vegetable tanned hide is a high quality durable material. Chrome is a harmful chemical and when not used carefully can have a negative environmental impact. Since we produce in India, where pollution is an important risk, we choose to tan without chromium.

Is your packaging sustainable?

Our packaging is made from recycled materials and is certified by Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The cardboard boxes that transport your new O My Bag safely to any place in the world is made from materials that come from local sources in The Netherlands.

In 2018 we started working with RePack. RePack is a reusable packaging service that aims to save the world from trash. A super simple solution to an ever-growing problem! Here’s how it works: you can choose to have your purchase shipped in a returnable and reusable RePack. After returning your RePack, you will be rewarded with a 10% discount on your next order at O My Bag and all brands that use Repack. The voucher is sent to you by email from RePack.

How do I take care of my O My Bag?

Your O My Bag needs a little bit of love to last you a lifetime. Attached to each purchased product you’ll find the care instructions on your dustbag.

How do I receive information about promos?

You can sign up for our O My Bag e-mails on our homepage to stay in-the-know about specials, new collections, great stories and promotions.

What do I do if the product I love is sold out?

Definitely. You can join our waitlist to be the first one to be notified when your dream product is available again. All you need to do click the ‘Join Waitlist’ button on the product page.

Gift Cards

Where can I find my gift credit balance?

When you’re ready to check-out and you’ve used your coupon code, the gift certificate credit will automatically deduct from your order total. Trouble finding your card balance? Email us at customerservice@omybag.nl and we’ll help you out.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, we offer both digital and physical (in-store) gift cards with a minimum purchase amount of €25.

You can find online gift cards here. Both digital and physical gift card purchases are non-refundable.

Most technical issues can be resolved by clearing your browser’s cache and cookies. Or try another device or browser.

Trouble paying with your credit card? We only accept credit card with 3d secure to avoid fraud. If you do not have one, please use another payment method such as Paypal.
