"Benaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together." – Mark Twain
It was early March 2019 and I was hosting a photo tour in Varanasi for Holi festival. Varanasi is such a vibrant city, holding many emotions and life on its streets. When I was walking on the ghats of Varanasi, my eyes noticed these ladies washing and drying the saris with the help of one another. After observing it a little more I found out that these ladies are from south India and they are here to visit Lord Shiva temple. The geometry and the shapes that they were creating was very interesting to photograph. This is a picture that shows the strength of these ladies and a beautiful morning in the Varanasi. - Shivam.

O My bag has worked with Shivam for many years during our production trips to India. As a photographer, working during COVID-19 has proven difficult, therefore O My Bag has committed to supporting Shivam and his family during this tough time.
