Internship: Graphic & UX/UI Designer

We are looking for an enthusiastic creative intern who is able to join our team for six months. Are you interested in sustainable fashion, graphics, user centered (experience) design and want to dive into the world of a growing company? You’d be part of a devoted team and fully involved in the day-to-day activities.

What you'll do

During this internship you will work closely together with our E-commerce Manager and our Visual Brand Designer.

  • You will use Heat Maps, Google Analytics, AB testing and Customer feedback from user testing to help identify pain points in the user journey, and use this information to optimize the user experience.
  • Conceptualize and design digital improvements
  • Following our brand guidelines, you will come up with creative ways to improve our online presence
  • Stay at the for-front of emerging UX/UI trends
  • Create exciting and engaging graphics for our website and social media channels.
  • Assist our visual brand designer with our email marketing campaigns.
  • Assist our designer in editing photographs and imagery, so that it shows off our beautiful bags in the best way possible
  • Support the Ecommerce manager by updating the home page and collection headers every two weeks and make sure our product imagery is up to date.
  • You'll learn how to work with digital tools like Klaviyo (email marketing) and Shopify (back-end of our website).

  • Make sure customers have a great experience getting in touch with our HQ. You’ll respond to customer queries in the most loving way possible. We treat our customers the same way we treat our friends.
  • Make sure the office is always Pinterest-picture perfect. We like our surrounding to invoke inspiration. So decorating and improving our office surrounding is a constant side project.
  • Help with organizing special events like sample sales, fashion fairs and other marketing and sales events. 
  • Just like any other intern, we can count on you regarding general office activities. We’re looking for ambitious interns who are not afraid to work hard and contribute to our grand goals of global market reach.

Requirements

  •  Graphic Design and/or UI/UX Communication and multimedia design or equivalent.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically photoshop.
  • You have an eye for detail and understand the O My Bag tone of voice. 
  • Experience with Shopify is a plus. You understand a basic level of HTML.
  • You have a basic understanding of SEO. You speak and write English fluently.
  • You are proactive and driven.
  • You have a can-do mentality and always look for opportunities.
  • You are interested in international and sustainable development.
  • You are available to start in January / Feb for 6 months and live in (or nearby) Amsterdam.
